Problem

At the Aloft Hotel, a concern came to the forefront as their expansive 200+ room property encountered issues with the cleanliness of grout and the safety of the floors. Originally a pristine light grey, the grout had deteriorated into an unsightly dark hue, accompanied by visible gaps in select locations. Furthermore, the floor tiles displayed an unacceptable coefficient of friction when wet, raising significant safety concerns for the well-being of guests.

Solution

Our process commenced with a comprehensive floor revitalization, which entailed the removal of accumulated grime and dirt. After, we undertook the restoration of the missing grout, ensuring all holes were filled. Following the grout's thorough drying, we expertly applied our proprietary 2-part grout color sealer, meticulously tailored to match the client's preferred color palette. In the final phase, a non-slip treatment was administered across the entirety of the floor, elevating its coefficient of friction to compliance standards. This procedure was systematically administered to each and every room throughout the property.
