Problem
The master bathroom, adorned with elegant golden-brown marble, had lost its original brilliance. The flooring showed extensive acid etching and scratches, while the grout was visibly discolored and stained. The marble’s once high-gloss finish had deteriorated, leaving it dull and lackluster.
Solution
We began by honing the entire floor using specialized diamond abrasives, meticulously working through four different grit levels to eliminate all etching and scratches. After honing, the floor was thoroughly cleaned to remove any residual slurry. Next, we moved on to polishing, dividing the floor into sections to prevent any risk of acid burns on the marble. At the client’s request, we achieved a mirror-like finish for the surface. Finally, we applied a color sealer to the grout, seamlessly tying the floor’s appearance together and completing the restoration.
