Bathtub Bottom
Client: The Ritz Carlton
Info: Bathtub Restoration, No-Slip Treatment
Throughout the extensive 250+ room property, the bathtubs, which were marked by dirt, chipped, and had unsightly scratches, required attention. These aesthetic deficiencies could be attributed to an oversight following a significant hotel renovation. The once pristine white bathtub bottoms had succumbed to stains from the property's red clay, and porcelain tubs bore unsightly scratches. Additionally, the caulking, vital for both aesthetics and functionality, was either missing or severely deteriorated.
Our restoration process commenced with the extraction of debris and excess dirt from the bathtub, accompanied by the removal of any existing caulking. A thorough rinsing with a specialized cleaning solution unveiled the pattern on the tub bottom. We then employed our exclusive cleaning compound, in conjunction with precision tools, to purify the pores, eliminating the stubborn residues of clay and grime. Once the pristine white finish of the tub had been restored, we buffed out all unsightly scratches and remedied chip damage. In the final phase, we recalked the entire tub perimeter, finishing with the application of a protective sealer.
